Vuly Thunder 2 vs Thunder 2 Pro

This page contains affiliate links and we may earn a commission on purchases.

Both of these use Vuly's leaf-spring system, which places the springs away from the jumping area rather than around the edge of the mat. Both meet the Australian Trampoline Standard AS 4989:2015, and their published warranty terms are identical: 10 years on the frame, 5 on the mat, 1 on the net.

The weight ratings are also the same, at 140 to 150 kg per jumper depending on size. The specifications that separate them are price and range: the Thunder 2 Pro costs several hundred dollars more, and the Thunder 2 offers an extra XXL size that is the largest round trampoline Vuly sells.

Vuly describes the Pro as using full-length leaf springs for a smoother bounce. That is a difference in feel rather than in any published specification, so it is worth trying both if you can, or reading our reviews of each.

Choose the Thunder 2 if you want the largest size or the lower price. Choose the Thunder 2 Pro if the upgraded spring design and its bounce are what you are paying for.

Quick verdict

These two match on warranty, weight rating and certification, and the Thunder 2 offers a larger maximum size for less money. The Pro is a bounce-quality upgrade rather than a specification upgrade, so it is worth the difference only if that is what you specifically want.
