Vuly Flare vs Ultra 2

This page contains affiliate links and we may earn a commission on purchases.

The Flare is Vuly's entry model and the Ultra 2 sits a step above it. Both are round, both use coil springs, and both meet the Australian Trampoline Standard AS 4989:2015.

The Ultra 2 has longer warranties and a higher weight rating. Its frame and mat warranties are 5 years against 3 on the Flare, and it is rated to 120 to 130 kg per jumper against 100 kg. It also comes in four sizes from S to XL, where the Flare offers two, and its XL is noticeably larger than the biggest Flare.

The Flare's advantage is price: it starts at roughly half what the Ultra 2 does, which makes it one of the cheaper trampolines in Australia that meets the standard.

Choose the Flare if the budget is tight and the trampoline is for younger children. Choose the Ultra 2 if you want the longer warranty, the higher weight rating or a larger size.

Quick verdict

The Flare covers the basics and meets the same standard, which is what most families with small children actually need. The Ultra 2 is the better long-term buy if older children will use it or you want more than three years on the frame.
