Jumpflex HERO vs MEGA
The Jumpflex HERO is a round backyard trampoline for family use, sold in four sizes from 10 ft to 15 ft. The MEGA is a bigger, heavier-duty model in square and rectangular shapes, sold at 14 ft and 19 ft square and 17 ft rectangular.
The main differences are weight rating and shape. Every HERO is rated to 160 kg per jumper and 250 kg combined. Every MEGA is rated to 225 kg per jumper and 450 kg combined. Round trampolines push jumpers back toward the middle, which suits younger children. Square and rectangular mats spread the bounce more evenly, which is why they are preferred for tricks and for more than one person jumping at once.
The MEGA also uses a different spring system and stands taller, so check your overhead clearance as well as the ground footprint. Both lines carry a 10-year frame warranty, and neither is listed as meeting the Australian Trampoline Standard AS 4989:2015.
Choose the HERO if this is a backyard trampoline for children and you want the largest jumping area for the money. Choose the MEGA if adults or teenagers will use it, if you want a square or rectangular mat, or if you need the higher weight rating.

Quick verdict
The HERO covers what most families need, and the 15 ft size gives a large round mat for well under the MEGA's starting price. The MEGA costs more for the weight rating and the shape, not for size: the 14 ft MEGA square has a smaller footprint than the 15 ft HERO but carries far more weight.

The HERO uses coil springs, from 64 on the 10 ft to 96 on the 15 ft. The MEGA uses piano wire springs, from 84 on the 14 ft to 112 on the 19 ft. Both are conventional sprung mats with the springs around the outside, so the enclosure and padding do the safety work on either one.
