Curious about what Vuly has to say about their warranty? We collected the most frequently asked questions from this community and elsewhere and got answers straight from the company. Here's what they said.
Warranty claims and customer service response times
After seeing mixed reports about Vuly's customer service - with some praising their support while others mentioning long wait times and difficulty processing warranty claims - we asked if there had been any recent improvements in response times.
Vuly acknowledged past issues, explaining: "This may have been over peak season when we had just released our new products and did not have stock of our spare parts. We are now working toward always having spare parts in stock to minimise wait times."
They also stated that the "average claim is approved within 48 hours max," which is quite promising if accurate.
What about extreme delays in warranty fulfillment?
We specifically asked about a reported case where a customer waited over a year for rusted frame replacements. Vuly's response suggested this was unusual and potentially due to communication issues: "I think this would have been we were waiting for more information - Would like to see what customer this was to figure out what caused such a delay."
Promotional items and warranty coverage
Another common complaint we've seen is about "free" promotional items like shade covers not being covered under warranty, even when they arrive faulty or break within months.
Vuly strongly disputed this: "This is not true. We used to offer a 3 month warranty period on promotional items which is no longer the case. They have the normal warranty period that product would have."
This is good news for anyone getting promotional items with their purchase - according to Vuly, these should now have the same warranty coverage as if you had purchased them separately.
